David Lucas
Vice President of Sales
David Lucas began his MEDHOST career in 2004 as the northeast Regional Sales Manager. After successfully expanding the Customer base throughout the northeast and being presented with MEDHOST’s Top Sales Achievement Award in 2005, Lucas assumed the role of VP of Sales the following year. Since 2006, the seasoned and consultative sales team has added close to 200 new hospital Customer sites under Lucas’ direction.
Lucas brings to MEDHOST a diverse background of executive sales, sales training, marketing, and management. With a primary career focus in healthcare, David’s experience with companies of all sizes has included C.R. Bard, Inc., US Surgical Corp., Medtronic, Inc., Cardinal Health, and Ibex Healthdata Systems (now Picis). His healthcare functional experience has been highlighted by implantable devices, surgical instrumentation, capital equipment, and clinical IT software, thereby enabling for broad-based and complex sales process perspectives to be brought to MEDHOST.
Lucas is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing and minoring in Psychology. He resides near Philadelphia with his wife Susanne of 22 years and their three children ages 15, 12, and 6.
