Kicking off 2012 with a Top KLAS Ranking and Momentum from Another Year of Record-setting Success
MEDHOST finished 2011 with many accomplishments, including attaining the No. 1 ranking in the Emergency Department segment of the 2011 Best in KLAS Awards: Software & Services report. Not only were we atop the KLAS rankings, but we outpaced all other EDIS providers by receiving the highest rating in the report’s “Has Needed Functionality” category. More than 80 percent of surveyed MEDHOST customers said that the MEDHOST EDIS functionality meets their needs.
This recognition is especially rewarding because it is based on customers’ real-world experiences with our EDIS product, our customer support team and so many others at MEDHOST who are committed to helping hospitals deliver the best and most efficient emergency care possible. Thanks to all of our customers who spent some of their valuable time submitting feedback to KLAS!
As president of MEDHOST, I’m particularly proud that we achieved our top KLAS ranking after having back-to-back years of our highest growth and most implementations ever. In addition, we moved the company headquarters to a beautiful new building in Plano, Texas, which gives us more space for customer training and accommodates our expanding headcount. In 2011 we added more than 50 new associates, most of whom will help us further broaden and accelerate product development, as well as support our rapidly growing customer base.
Building on the momentum and accomplishments of 2011, we have a lot in store for current and future customers in 2012. We will be expanding our product suite with easy-to-use and highly intuitive solutions destined to transform patient throughput and house-wide communication regarding operational status throughout hospitals and across healthcare systems. We will also begin offering 24/7 customer support and are investing in enhancements to bolster our expert and experienced support staff. We couldn’t be more excited about what’s to come; stay tuned for more news in the near future.
