MUSE International 2010 - Recap
It was great to see our MEDITECH Customers at the recent MUSE International Conference, as well as share their success with other hospitals attending the tradeshow. Many attendees were interested in seeing our EDIS’s features and functionality, as well as learning more about our latest offering, OpCenter. It was clear that a common trend among attendees was the need for easy-to-use solutions that improve workflow but also contribute to their bottom line. MEDHOST’s EDIS does just that. Many of our Customers achieve ROI in six months or less. The success achieved at Beaufort Memorial Hospital in Beaufort, S.C. is a great example of the power of MEDHOST's EDIS. Ed Ricks, CIO at Beaufort, spoke to MUSE attendees about his facility’s planned technology upgrades and MEDHOST’s key role in that initiative.

In his vendor-neutral presentation, Mr. Ricks explained how he integrated MEDHOST EDIS with MEDITECH, as well as discussed in detail the financial improvements our EDIS delivered and its role in helping the hospital fund its house-wide CPOE implementation and migration to MEDITECH 6.0.

We recently developed a Customer success story about Beaufort Memorial to illustrate the amazing transformations possible with MEDHOST’s EDIS. Just like most hospitals, Beaufort had been experiencing significant increases in ED volumes and needed to upgrade technology in the ED, as well as across the hospital to support its patient care, financial, workflow and other goals.
