Bill Anderson, Chairman and CEO
Bill Anderson has been the CEO of MEDHOST since August 2012 and chairman since June 2008. Previously, he was a consultant to the company from June 2009 to August 2012.
Bill has over 40 years of experience in the technology and financial industries. He started his career at KPMG where he served in a variety of roles including partner in charge of corporate finance, corporate recovery and valuation practices. Bill subsequently served as CFO at H&R Block, then an S&P 500 company, where he also created and led their software and financial services divisions. At Bankrate, Inc. Bill served as CEO while it expanded from a newsletter publisher to a leading online content site and a publicly registered company. He has since served as CEO of several technology companies. He has originated a number of innovative technology applications and holds a patent on delivering online financial services using distributed objects.
Bill received a Master of Business Administration from Emory University and a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Auburn University.
Ken Misch, President
Ken Misch joined MEDHOST in 2013 as Chief Financial Officer and was promoted to President in 2019. He is responsible for the Company’s strategic and operational priorities.
During his 30 years in executive and leadership positions with various healthcare and technology growth-oriented companies, Ken’s experience spans mergers and acquisitions, public and private equity financing including IPOs, complex debt and tax structures, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and investors.
Before joining MEDHOST, Ken served as CFO and CIO at DynaVox and has held other several other CFO and financial positions with healthcare and technology companies. Ken is a Certified Public Accountant and received a Master of Business Administration from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Greater Nashville Technology Council and the Middle Tennessee Chapter of the American Heart Association.
Todd Redmon, Chief Revenue Officer / President MEDHOST Business Services
Todd Redmon joined MEDHOST in 2010 and leads the company’s revenue generating teams including new business, account management, marketing, and implementations services. He is responsible for Company sales, services, and revenue management. Additionally, Todd serves as President of MEDHOST Business Services, a division which provides revenue cycle services for hospitals nationwide. Todd previously served as Chief Operating Officer.
Before his tenure at MEDHOST, Todd served Dell Inc in a series of leadership positions in operations, manufacturing, and support services over a period of 10 years. Todd’s leadership experience included global technical support and solutions for multiple hardware, software, and network customer needs as well as leading Dell’s largest manufacturing facility fulfilling server, workstation and storage products. He also serves as a member of the Executive Committee for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Matthew Higgins, Chief Financial Officer
Joining the team in 2014, Matthew Higgins serves as Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for the company’s financial oversight. He served as Vice President of Finance and in other financial leadership positions with MEDHOST prior to his promotion to CFO.
Including his tenure at MEDHOST, Matthew has over 15 years of finance, accounting, and leadership experience at companies including SmileDirectClub, Deloitte, and Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Matthew is a Certified Public Accountant and received a Master of Accountancy from Belmont University and a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Auburn University.
Kenneth Barfield, Executive Vice President, General Counsel
Kenneth joined MEDHOST in 2010 as General Counsel and is responsible for oversight of all legal matters. He previously served as General Counsel of Universal Tax Systems/Taxwise (UTS), a publisher of tax preparation and electronic filing software and provider of electronic filing services, from 1993 to 2006. During that period, he also served in roles as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of the company. After UTS was acquired by Wolters Kluwer in 2006, Kenneth served as the Vice President of Legal of CCH Small Firm Services and Assistant General Counsel for Wolters Kluwer Tax and Accounting until 2010.
Kenneth began his professional career as an auditor at Arthur Andersen & Company in Atlanta. He later practiced as an attorney, concentrating in corporate and tax matters at the Atlanta firm Kilpatrick & Cody (now Kilpatrick Townsend), and Hine, Carroll and Niedrach in Rome, Georgia. Kenneth received the Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting and the Doctor of Law degree with honors from Georgia State University. He has earned a license as a Certified Public Accountant, is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia and Tennessee and is a member of the American Bar Association.
