MEDHOST now integrates with CommonWell Health Alliance*, a significant force in driving health data exchange, to help improve care coordination and health outcomes nationwide.

The CommonWell Integration initiative provides an automated solution for facilitating the exchange and access of patient records nationwide (supported CCDA documents) between MEDHOST hospitals and other care facilities connected to the CommonWell network.
CommonWell Health Alliance Integration provides the following values and benefits to hospitals:

• Automated exchange and access of patient records with an extensive network
• Integrated into user workflows
• Automatically fetches the latest document and makes it available for clinical review
• Auto-responds to requests for CCDA documents from other facilities
• Helps meet the 2022 IPPS measure for bi-directional communication with Health Information Exchanges (HIE)
• Enables incorporation of problems, medications, and allergies from CCDA documents retrieved via CommonWell network into MEDHOST
