MEDHOST, a leading EHR and healthcare IT solutions provider, has completed certification for HTI-1 Decision Support Interventions (DSI) and announces general availability.
MEDHOST, the 5th vendor to achieve DSI criteria certification, is now equipped to help partner hospitals meet the new requirements of the CMS Promoting Interoperability Program, supporting compliance while enhancing care with advanced clinical decision-making tools.
MEDHOST must make available to customers software certified to the new DSI criteria by January 1, 2025. Customers must have the certified software in place by the beginning of their PI reporting period. The certified version of MEDHOST solutions includes DSI functionality, ensuring MEDHOST customers can comply with the latest CMS mandates and use the latest technologies.
The DSI-certified version of MEDHOST is now available and allows hospitals to comply with the 180-day mandatory reporting period for 2025. Early adoption is highly recommended to avoid non-compliance penalties and ensure a smooth transition for hospital teams.
Hospitals must participate in the MEDHOST HTI Program to take full advantage of these new DSI functionalities. To learn more about MEDHOST’s HTI Program and how DSIs can benefit healthcare providers, download the brochure. Please note that CHPL posting is expected in the coming days.
