FRANKLIN, Tenn. – February 18, 2016 – MEDHOST, Inc., provider of innovative and market-leading healthcare solutions, will introduce an enhanced Mobile Medication Administration app and showcase new branding and consumer relationship management (CRM) tools available with YourCareUniverse patient portal and YourCareEverywhere , a premier health and wellness site at HIMSS16 Annual Conference and Exhibition tradeshow, February 29 – March 4 in Booth #3821.
YourCareEverywhere serves the needs of today’s healthcare consumer by providing them access to daily-updated consumer health news and editorial content, wellness tools via consumer health device integration and a clinically-integrated mobile iOS and Android app. Additionally, YourCareEverywhere is fully integrated with the YourCareUniverse patient portal, helping hospitals drive patient engagement and build consumer loyalty.
Mobile Medication App-
MEDHOST will also introduce an enhanced Mobile Medication Administration app. Especially, it is an iOS app that provides access to MEDHOST’s electronic medication record (eMAR) using a handheld mobile device. The MEDHOST Mobile Medication Administration app helps hospitals deliver quality care while reducing the burden on clinicians. Also, helping to decrease the medication errors that occur at the point of administration. In addition to its exhibit space, YourCareUniverse is participating in Use Case #12 in the Interoperability Showcase in Booth #11954-2. Blair Baker, vice president of product strategy, will present “Closing the Loop between Chronically Ill Patients and Providers” on Thursday, March 3 at 10:30 a.m. in the Interoperability Showcase Pavilion. The session will focus on how the Disease Management App (DMA) allows providers to digitally manage patients with chronic diseases by aggregating clinical and demographic data from the YourCareUniverse platform, data from fitness devices and patient-entered data into a single display. The DMA increases interaction, patient satisfaction, improves health outcomes, reduces the cost of care, mitigates risk and builds brand affinity.
