The Price Transparency solutions from MEDHOST enable providers to comply with Price Transparency Policy. The purpose of this policy is to help empower patients and increase competition in individual and group markets.

MEDHOST Price Transparency Solution

The MEDHOST Price Transparency* solution will provide:

• A public-facing, web-based search page that can be embedded on the hospital’s website, allowing a search of the 300 “shoppable services”
• The ability for providers to automatically generate and embed machine-readable, comprehensive, standard charges using the solution
• Our preferred solution integrates with contract management tools and services to help generate more accurate and up-to-date pricing estimates
• The solution also minimizes disruption to existing customer workflows by avoiding cumbersome third-party integrations

*The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) can monitor, audit, implement corrective action plans, and impose civil monetary penalties of $300 per day per facility after January 1, 2021, if facilities do not comply with these updated regulations requirements.
