FRANKLIN, Tenn. – July 14, 2015 – In partnership with the American Hospital Association (AHA), MEDHOST will present a free webinar for hospital clinical and administrative leaders on July 22 titled “Revamping Patient Flow: Improved LOS & Patient Satisfaction.”
During the webinar, Ann Gantzer, chief nursing officer, and Chad Thompson, director of emergency services for SwedishAmerican Health System, will highlight how the 333-bed, Illinois organization overhauled their patient flow process by creating key performance indicators (KPIs) and experienced significant reductions in length of stay (LOS) and left-without-treatment rate, as well as an increase in discharges before 11 a.m. They will also share how MEDHOST’s PatientFlow HD provided visibility into the new KPIs so hospital leadership, clinicians and staff can identify areas for process improvements to better coordinate care and transitions.
